Job Description:
We are offering structured MQA-registered Learnership programs aimed at qualifying individuals as Artisans. Successful candidates will undergo theoretical and practical training, including formal instruction at our accredited training center in Randfontein and on-the-job training at Venetia Mine.
Available Learnerships:
Candidates may apply for the following trades, specifying the appropriate reference number:
- Plating – Apprentice Intake
- C&I Mechanician – Apprentice Intake
- Electrical – Apprentice Intake
- Fitting & Turning – Apprentice Intake
- Diesel – Apprentice Intake
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following educational criteria:
Plating:
- Grade 12/Std 10 with Mathematics
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Plating and Structural Steel Drawings
- N2 Platers Trade Theory
C&I Mechanician:
- Grade 12/Std 10 with Mathematics
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Industrial Electronics
- N2 Mechanician Theory
Electrical:
- Grade 12/Std 10 with Mathematics
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Industrial Electronics
- N2 Electrical Trade Theory
Fitting & Turning:
- Grade 12/Std 10 with Mathematics
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Engineering Drawings
- N2 Fitting & Machine Trade Theory
Diesel:
- Grade 12/Std 10 with Mathematics
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Engineering Drawing
- N2 Diesel Theory
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to the training center outside Limpopo province.
- Ability to obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness Certificate) for mine work.
- Successful SAPS criminal record verification and qualification validation.
- Must pass psychometric and technical assessments.

Application Requirements:
- A CV accompanied by certified copies of qualifications and proof of residential address.
- A formal letter from the Municipality or Tribal Council (original letterhead, stamped within the last three months) confirming the applicant’s residence in the local area.
- Clearly indicate the reference number for the discipline you are applying for.
Employment Conditions:
- Successful applicants will be appointed on a Section 18.2 four-year Learnership contract.
- Consideration will be given to candidates from within the Labour Sending Areas of Venetia Mine (Musina, Blouberg, Alldays) and limited to the Limpopo Province.
- The company’s Employment Equity Policy will be taken into account in the selection process.
- Pre-screening, assessments, medical evaluations, and security clearance are mandatory.
