Eskom, South Africa’s leading power utility company, is seeking talented and ambitious graduates to join our Engineers in Training programme. We are recruiting 13 exceptional individuals to be based in the Free State (Bloemfontein) as part of our Central East Cluster operations.

About the Role

This is an outstanding opportunity for recent engineering graduates to launch their careers with one of the country’s most vital infrastructure organizations. As an Engineer in Training, you will be positioned within our Asset Creations & Maintenance & Operations department, where you’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience across various aspects of power generation, transmission, and distribution.

This internship programme is designed to develop your technical competencies, professional skills, and industry knowledge under the guidance of experienced engineers and specialists. You’ll be exposed to real-world challenges, cutting-edge technology, and projects that directly impact millions of South Africans.

What We’re Looking For

We require candidates who hold a B.Eng. or BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering. You should be passionate about engineering excellence, eager to learn, and committed to contributing to South Africa’s energy security and sustainability.
