Eskom, South Africa’s leading electricity utility, is inviting applications for its Learner Non-Technical programme based at Simmerpan, Germiston in Gauteng. This is a structured 12-month on-the-job training opportunity hosted within Eskom’s Procurement and Supply Chain Management division, offering graduates a meaningful entry point into one of the country’s most critical state entities.
About the Programme
This learnership is designed to equip recently qualified graduates with practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment. Participants will be integrated into various non-technical business units within Eskom’s Procurement and Supply Chain Management division, gaining exposure to real operational processes while building the professional competencies needed to launch a sustainable career.
The programme runs for 12 months and is classified at Task Grade L06. Remuneration is market-related for the duration of the training period.
Who Should Apply
Eskom is looking for motivated, disciplined graduates who hold one of the following qualifications:
- National Diploma in Commerce, Logistics, Transport, or Supply Chain Management
- National Diploma in Information Technology or Information Management
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
In addition to the relevant qualification, successful candidates will demonstrate the following competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to grasp and apply technical concepts
- A safety-conscious mindset and approach to work
