About the Role

Join our Construction Services – Powerlines department and embark on a comprehensive two-year internship that will provide you with invaluable hands-on experience in electrical engineering design. This fixed-term contract position offers market-related remuneration through a competitive stipend structure aligned with company policies. You’ll be stationed at various sites across South Africa, gaining diverse exposure to real-world engineering challenges.

Your Responsibilities

As a Learner Intern, you’ll be integral to our engineering design operations. Your journey will involve executing duties according to your structured training program, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and actively participating in engineering design projects. Safety is paramount at Eskom, and you’ll ensure full compliance with Section 14 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, properly discharging all employee safety duties.

What We’re Looking For

We seek passionate graduates who hold a BSc in Electrical Engineering and have completed Grade 12. Beyond academic qualifications, we value individuals with proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel, coupled with strong leadership capabilities and problem-solving acumen. Your ability to navigate conflicts constructively will serve you well in our collaborative environment.
