The Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) is excited to announce the GEPFuture Internship Programme, offering unemployed graduates an exceptional opportunity to gain practical workplace experience in a professional environment. This two-year programme runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028.
Available Disciplines
We are seeking talented individuals in the following fields:
- Supply Chain Management – BTech/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Human Capital Management – N6/National Diploma/Degree in HR or Industrial Psychology
- Investments – Degree in Investment Management, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
- Information Technology – National Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Legal (Ombud) – Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB)
- Secretariat and Administration – N6/Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or related discipline
- Graphic Design – Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related discipline (portfolio required for shortlisted candidates)
Who Should Apply?
This programme is designed for South African citizens aged 18-35 who have successfully completed at least a three-year Degree or National Diploma in the specified fields, or students who have passed all coursework but require practical workplace exposure to complete their qualification.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 60% aggregate pass mark at undergraduate level (final year)
- Minimum 55% pass mark at postgraduate level
- Must be unemployed with no previous formal employment or internship experience in the field of study
- South African citizenship
