These roles are offered on a fixed‑term 12‑month contract, during which you will be expected to apply your academic knowledge in a workplace context, complete practical tasks required for your Practical 1 (P1) and Practical 2 (P2) training, and build competence for future professional roles.
Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a Mentor and reporting to the relevant Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Completing the required P1 and P2 practical training tasks within the 12‑month contract.
- Gaining hands‑on practical training and exposure at the employer’s premises.
- Preparing and submitting quarterly progress reports to demonstrate your learning and development.
- Complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements in the workplace.
- Performing general administrative duties and any other tasks as required by your department.
- Being willing to work rotational shifts when required.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this internship, you should meet the following criteria:
- In possession of a relevant National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in your field of study.
- Computer literate with proficiency in the MS Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative‑driven, results‑orientated and willing to learn.
- Ability to work well within a team and comply with organisational policies and safety protocols.
