About the Programme

ARM is pleased to announce our comprehensive Graduate Development Programme designed to nurture talented graduates into competent mining professionals. This structured programme provides hands-on experience across various mining disciplines while offering mentorship from industry experts and exposure to world-class mining operations.

Programme Details

The 9X Graduate Development Programme focuses on the Lower Patterson Grading classification and offers multiple specialization streams. Successful candidates will be placed at our state-of-the-art operations in the Northern Cape, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga provinces, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and innovative mining environment.

Available Positions:

• Graduate Rock Engineer – Focus on rock mechanics, mine design, and geotechnical engineering
• Graduate Tailing Dam Engineers – Specialization in tailings management and environmental compliance
• Graduate Mining Engineers – Exposure to mine planning, operations, and production optimization
• Graduate Human Resources Development – Training in HR practices and organizational development
• Graduate Finance – Experience in financial accounting, management economics, and business analysis
• Graduate Mining Production – Hands-on production management and operational excellence

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must possess a relevant tertiary qualification (BSc, BEng, or National Diploma) in their respective fields including Mining Engineering, Geology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Hygiene, Financial Accounting, Human Resources Development, or related disciplines. Candidates should demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a genuine passion for the mining industry.

We seek individuals with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in diverse teams. Successful candidates will display initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and sustainable mining practices.
