Available Disciplines

We are offering graduate internship positions in three key engineering disciplines:

• Mining Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Essential Requirements:

• Valid South African ID
• Diploma or Degree in one of the specified mining-related disciplines obtained from a Higher Education and Training (HET) institution
• Proof of residential address
• Must be currently unemployed
• Must not have been enrolled in any previous internship programmes registered with a SETA

Selection Process

Selection preference will be given to candidates from the Modikwa Mining affected communities. In making the final selection, consideration will be given to attaining the objectives of the Mining Charter and Employment Equity Act, ensuring fair representation and opportunity for all qualifying candidates.

Potential candidates may be required to undergo a comprehensive selection process, which may include:

• Panel interviews to assess suitability and competency
• Psychometric assessments for final selection
• Participation in a structured learning and development programme
