The successful candidate will be a recent graduate holding a completed BSc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised institution. A strong academic background is essential, particularly in mathematics, with a minimum of 80% achieved in Pure Mathematics at Grade 12 level. This high level of mathematical proficiency is critical to meeting the demands of the role, as problem-solving, analytical thinking, and algorithmic development are integral components of the position.

Candidates must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders. The role requires a solid understanding of programming principles, with hands-on skills in C# and the .NET framework. Knowledge and practical exposure to artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and cloud computing platforms such as AWS will be highly advantageous.

In this position, graduates will work closely with senior developers, data scientists, and solution architects to design, develop, test, and implement software solutions tailored to client requirements. They will gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to coding, testing, and deployment. The role will also involve collaborating in cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise solutions, optimising performance, and ensuring scalability and reliability of software products.
