Job Overview:
The Industrial Program Graduate will support the launch team in deploying manufacturing and engineering activities, ensuring the smooth transition from prototype to production while meeting key performance targets.
Responsibilities:
- Support the plant’s manufacturing and engineering activities according to Group policies.
- Manage product manufacturability and coordinate tasks related to production.
- Interface with customers and suppliers on technical aspects.
- Develop and set up the complete production system for the program, using lean methodologies and Faurecia standards.
- Coordinate production equipment and tooling installation and launch.
- Oversee the production ramp-up process and manage production launch in the plant.
- Achieve manufacturing objectives, including quality, cost, delivery, and performance targets.
- Report on progress, ensuring milestones are achieved on time.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B-Tech or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Academic results above 70% in the final year, with a 60% average throughout the studies.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to work under pressure and as a committed team player.
- Must be a South African citizen and available to start immediately.
