Are you a recently qualified IT professional looking to launch your career in a hands-on technical environment? We are looking for a motivated IT Graduate to join our desktop support team and gain real-world experience working alongside skilled engineers in a dynamic, people-focused organisation.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has recently completed an IT qualification or foundational certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ (N+), or an equivalent IT fundamentals programme. You do not need years of experience — we will provide full on-the-job training, mentorship, and the support you need to grow.
What You Will Be Doing
You will assist with a range of day-to-day IT support tasks across hardware, software, and basic networking. Key responsibilities include:
Hardware Support — Installing components in laptops including RAM, hard drives, and SSDs. Setting up and configuring printers and scanners for end users.
Networking — Configuring device network connectivity, including connecting laptops and printers to office networks. Identifying and resolving common connectivity issues for laptops and mobile devices.
Software Support — Installing and configuring software applications such as Microsoft Outlook on laptops and tablets. Installing and setting up operating systems, including Windows 11.
Troubleshooting — Performing basic hardware and network diagnostics. Resolving common end-user issues such as malfunctioning cameras or microphones used for Microsoft Teams meetings.
You will report directly to the Desktop Engineer or Assistant Desktop Engineer and work closely with a supportive technical team committed to helping you succeed.
