Ikwezi Mining is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate IT graduate to join our dynamic team at our Head Office in Midrand. We are offering a two-year Information Technology Internship Programme designed to provide graduates with real-world exposure and hands-on experience in a professional and collaborative environment.
This internship is tailored to assist the successful candidate in building a solid foundation in IT while working alongside a team of experienced IT professionals. You will be actively involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, and developing the IT systems that support our growing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, hardware, and networks.
- Support software development projects, including updates and debugging.
- Participate in cybersecurity practices and data management initiatives.
- Provide user and desktop support to staff across departments.
- Work closely with IT teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Learn and adopt best practices in IT service delivery and infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
- A completed Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and data handling.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a professional IT environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
