The Westin Cape Town is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Intern to join its dynamic Information Technology department. This twelve-month internship offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or final-year student to gain valuable hands-on experience in IT support within the fast-paced hospitality industry. As an IT Support Intern, the incumbent will play a key role in delivering first-level support to users across the hotel. Responsibilities will include providing technical assistance to staff and guests on both hardware and software-related issues, installing and configuring systems and devices, and maintaining the overall IT infrastructure. The intern will support the setup and troubleshooting of computers, printers, and other peripherals while following established processes and procedures to ensure the efficient functioning of IT services.

In addition to technical support, the intern will assist in training and supporting team members in the use of various software programs and IT systems. The position requires an individual who is enthusiastic about technology, eager to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Applicants must possess a National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
