These internships are designed for students currently completing their Work Integrated Learning (WIL) or In-Service Training and looking for a challenging, growth-driven environment within one of South Africa’s fastest-growing FMCG companies.
Chemical Engineering Intern – Cape Town
As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will engage in real-world process and product environments in beverage manufacturing. You will assist with production monitoring, lab testing (pH, Brix, etc.), and process optimisation. Your role includes contributing to data analysis and root cause investigations, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting technical audits.
Minimum requirements include a Diploma in Chemical Engineering (currently completing WIL), a WIL placement letter from a recognised institution, no prior SETA-funded internship or graduate programme participation, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, interest in beverage production and quality control, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Mechanical Engineering Intern – Middelburg and Queenstown
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with bottling and packaging machinery. You will assist with fault finding, mechanical inspections, and preventative maintenance. You will support technicians in breakdown resolution and line optimisation and contribute to production and maintenance improvements as well as safety compliance. You’ll also participate in continuous improvement and machine efficiency initiatives.
Minimum requirements include a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (completed or currently completing WIL), no prior SETA-funded internship or graduate programme participation, mechanical aptitude and passion for FMCG production, computer literacy (especially MS Excel & Word), strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, and willingness to work shifts and in high-pressure environments.
