Programme Overview

Through the YES Programme, Daimler Truck Southern Africa Ltd will provide a 12-month structured workplace experience to unemployed youth, aligned with the company’s commitment to social development and transformation. The initiative is designed to equip participants with practical skills and exposure to real business environments, enhancing their future career prospects.

Who Should Apply?

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

• South African youth aged between 18 and 29 years
• Must be currently unemployed
• Minimum educational requirement: Grade 12 (Tertiary education advantageous)
• No previous participation in any YES4Youth initiative
• Must be computer literate and proficient in English
• Clean criminal record
• No prior work experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

Applications are especially encouraged from candidates who have completed studies in the following fields:

• Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechatronics)
• Human Resource Management
• Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics
• Finance (including Financial Management, Accounting, Economics, Applied Mathematics, and Tax)
• Information Technology
• Marketing (Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations)
• Legal (including newly admitted attorneys)
