Programme Overview

- Location: Various uMngeni-uThukela Water sites in KwaZulu-Natal, including eThekwini, Msunduzi, and uMhlathuze
- Stipend: Monthly stipend provided to support participation in the programme
- Experience: Hands-on, structured workplace training
Fields of Internship Placement
uMngeni Water Services is looking to place 30 graduates in the following fields:
- Engineering (10 Internships): Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, ICT, and Town Planning
- Finance / Supply Chain Management (10 Internships)
- Information and Communications Technology (5 Internships)
- Marketing and Communications (5 Internships)
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must hold an NQF Level 7 or 8 qualification relevant to the field applied for
- Must be currently unemployed and available for full-time participation over the 12-month period
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Must not be participating in any other internship, learnership, or educational programme
- Must be a South African citizen in possession of a valid South African ID
