Eskom, South Africa’s leading power utility, is inviting applications from dedicated and enthusiastic individuals for two Learner Intern Diploma Engineering Electrical positions at Kusile Power Station. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience while contributing to the energy sector. Successful candidates will be required to sign a one-year internship contract and will receive a stipend in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications:
• A Grade 12 certificate
• Completion of S4 or a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
• No prior work experience is required, as this program is designed for recent graduates seeking practical training.
Skills and Competencies:
Ideal candidates should demonstrate the following:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Effective conflict resolution skills
• A valid Code B driver’s licence

Key Responsibilities
The Learner Intern will be responsible for:
• Continuous Improvement: Participating in projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
• Training Program Adherence: Performing duties as outlined in the structured training plan.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with Section 14 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and fulfilling all assigned duties responsibly.
