Job Description:
We are seeking four (4) experienced and customer-centric IT Service Desk Consultants to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong technical support skills and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidates will be based at our Head Office in Cape Town and will play a vital role in providing technical support to our stores, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to store and office users.
  • Respond to support requests via telephone and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all support calls and requests are resolved within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Effectively prioritise, manage, and track Incidents, Requests, and Problems.
  • Identify common technical issues, provide trend analysis, and report findings to the line manager.
  • Maintain a high quality of service by ensuring daily updates on all Incidents and Requests in the system.
  • Work in a shift environment, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure continuous support availability.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar IT support environment.
  • Understanding of retail operations and technical support needs.
  • Matric qualification (Grade 12) is required.
  • An IT qualification, certification, or diploma is advantageous.
  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
  • Reliable transport is required due to the on-site nature of the role.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
