What You’ll Do

As our Junior Developer, you’ll be at the heart of our data analytics operations, working alongside experienced professionals who are committed to your growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SQL queries, views, and stored procedures that power our business intelligence
• ETL Operations: Support critical data extraction, transformation, and loading processes that keep our data flowing seamlessly
• Analytics Support: Create dashboards and reports using SQL-based data sources, turning complex data into actionable insights
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions
• Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity while optimizing query performance to maintain our high standards
• Documentation & Version Control: Maintain comprehensive code documentation and participate in version control practices
• Continuous Learning: Engage in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions that will accelerate your professional development

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong foundation in relational databases, Data Warehouse schemas (Kimball/Star), and SQL fundamentals
• Experience with Oracle SQL (PL/SQL knowledge is advantageous)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
• Commitment to maintaining the highest data quality standards

Bonus Skills That Will Set You Apart:

• Exposure to cloud platforms like Snowflake or AWS Glue
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Python or other scripting language knowledge
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies
