What You’ll Do
Your role will be diverse and challenging, offering opportunities to grow both technically and professionally:
- Design & Development: Assist in creating sophisticated control and monitoring systems for renewable energy projects, from initial concept through to final commissioning
- System Integration: Support the integration and rigorous testing of PLC-based control systems, ensuring seamless operation across complex energy infrastructure
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers to translate system requirements into practical, efficient control solutions
- Innovation & R&D: Participate in technical research and software development for internal innovation projects, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in energy management
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear, comprehensive engineering documentation that supports project delivery and knowledge transfer
- Project Ownership: Take charge of smaller projects, building your confidence and demonstrating your growing capabilities
Who You Are
We’re looking for recent graduates or early-career professionals with:
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or B.Sc. Engineering in a relevant discipline
- 0–1 years of professional experience (graduates welcome; any experience in control or automation is advantageous)
Technical Skills You’ll Bring
- Practical experience designing and implementing P and PI controllers (professional or academic projects)
- Strong programming skills in C/C++/C#
- Foundational understanding of PLCs and PLC programming concepts
- Knowledge of three-phase power systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Bonus Skills That Will Set You Apart
- Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and TIA Portal environment
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Solar PV systems and energy management principles
- Understanding of IoT applications and system integration
