Job Description

As a Junior Product Engineer, you will:

• Prepare engineering data for new business, facelifts, engineering change instructions (ECI), and request for quotes.
• Analyze production drawings and prepare Production Engineering Data for implementation.
• Oversee the implementation of new models, facelifts, and ECI projects from concept to production startup.
• Investigate localization, VA/VE, and standardization opportunities.
• Conduct design reviews with the Design Team and Yazaki.
• Identify training requirements for new equipment and processes.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Essential)
• B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Desirable)
• Project Management Diploma (Advantageous)

Experience:

• 2-3 years Product Development experience in the automotive sector (Essential)
• Experience in a Wire Harness environment (Desirable)
• 2 years working with Quality Core Tools (FMEA, control plans, APQP) (Advantageous)

Skills & Tools:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• CAD Software (Desirable)
