The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Field Service Engineer Intern to join our Core Diagnostics Division based in Johannesburg, South Africa. What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Engineer Intern, you will support technical services related to our diagnostic instruments, which are used in hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. Responsibilities include:

• Performing on-site installations, servicing, and repairs of diagnostic systems and analyzers.
• Supporting the Technical Support team and external service providers with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Participating in product upgrades and ensuring proper implementation.
• Providing basic training to customers on proper use and minor troubleshooting of equipment.
• Assisting with proactive maintenance and customer service follow-ups.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for driven, curious individuals eager to start their engineering career in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Completed University Degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical/Clinical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• Valid Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle.
• Must be based in Gauteng and willing to travel to nearby areas.
• Available to start immediately.

Preferred:

• No prior work experience required; however, any relevant in-service training or internship experience will be considered an advantage.
