Over the two-year period, graduates rotate through several of KPMG’s business units, gaining broad exposure across industries, projects, and consulting disciplines. This rotation model gives young professionals a unique platform to explore different areas of the business, discover their strengths, and lay a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career.

Key Responsibilities

As a graduate consultant, you will work in collaborative teams to deliver on client-facing engagements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the execution of project scope, including the use of relevant and innovative software and technology tools
  • Brainstorming ideas and solutions with team members
  • Creating and presenting client deliverables such as data models, reports, and presentations
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and developing solutions to streamline client service delivery, organisational structures, governance and control, performance data and insights, and processes
  • Conducting research and evidence collection, including stress-testing client perspectives against challenges and requirements
  • Supporting project control activities including initiation, tracking, reporting, risk management, and budget analysis
  • Liaising with client personnel at all levels through interviews, meetings, and workshops
  • Contributing to business development support including client proposals, client service team support, and industry thought leadership

Qualifications

Applicants must hold or be completing an undergraduate, honours, or master’s degree in one of the following fields: BCom Finance / Financial Management, BCom Investment Management / Economics & Finance, BBusSci Finance / Economics & Finance, BCom Accounting with Finance Electives, Postgraduate Diploma in Finance / Investment Management, Honours or Masters in Finance / Investments / Development Finance, BSc Artificial Intelligence, BSc Data Science, BSc Computer Science / Informatics, BSc Information Technology, BEng Software / Computer / Civil / Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial / Mining / Mechatronics Engineering, BCom Business Analytics / Information Systems, Masters in Industrial Psychology, Bachelor of Design / Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Digital Media, BCom Law, BSc Quantity Surveying, BCom Information Systems (Hons), BSc Construction Management, Bachelor of Property Studies, LLM (Construction / Commercial Law), MSc Construction Management, MSc Development Finance, MCom Economics, or BSc / BCom in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or Business Analytics.
