24-MONTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME | RECRUITMENT OF 800 UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES
The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education is implementing the Graduate Internship Programme as part of its contribution to skills development initiatives. We are inviting unemployed graduates to participate in a fully structured programme that will provide valuable work experience and increase opportunities towards employment. Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend/allowance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be considered:
- South African citizen
- Unemployed graduate without relevant work experience
- Currently not studying
- Has not previously participated in a Graduate Internship Programme
- Prepared to enter into a contractual agreement with the Department
- Available for placement in departmental offices across the province
- People with disabilities are encouraged to apply
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Recently certified copy of South African Identity Document
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Recently certified copy of Matric Certificate
- Recently certified copy of Degree or Diploma Certificate (TVET College graduates must include a letter from DHET declaring competence and confirming graduation)
- Full academic record indicating all modules/courses passed or completed
- Proof of residence
- Proof of registration with the relevant body/council (where applicable)
Note: If any of the above documents are not attached, the applicant will automatically be disqualified. If an applicant has not been contacted within 2 months of the closing date, the application must be considered unsuccessful.
