Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine is a wholly owned subsidiary of Assore Limited, located in the scenic Limpopo Province—approximately 60 kilometres from Lydenburg and 40 kilometres from Burgersfort. Available Internship Positions

We are offering fixed-term internship contracts across multiple disciplines:

Engineering Internship (4 Positions) – Mechanical or Electrical Diploma/Degree holders seeking practical engineering experience in a dynamic mining environment.

Chemistry Internship (2 Positions) – Analytical Chemistry diploma graduates eager to apply laboratory skills in real-world mineral processing.

Geology Internship (1 Position) – BSc Honours or BTech Geology graduates ready to explore geological surveying and resource evaluation.

Mining Internship (2 Positions) – Mining Engineering diploma or degree holders looking to develop expertise in underground and surface mining operations.

Rock Engineering Internship (2 Positions) – Geology or Mining Engineering graduates interested in strata control and ground stability. A Strata Control Officer’s Ticket is advantageous.

Environmental Internship (1 Position) – Environmental Management diploma holders passionate about sustainability and regulatory compliance in mining.

Human Resources Internship (1 Position) – HR Management graduates seeking exposure to talent acquisition, employee relations, and organisational development.

Metallurgy Internship (1 Position) – Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy diploma holders ready to work in mineral extraction and processing.

Survey Internship (1 Position) – Surveying diploma or degree graduates interested in mine planning and spatial data collection.

What We Offer

Our internship programme provides meaningful work experience, mentorship from industry professionals, and exposure to all aspects of mining operations. Most positions offer a two-year contract duration, with the Human Resources internship running for one year. You will report to our HRD Officer and receive guidance aligned with your career development goals.
