The Opportunity

This apprenticeship programme offers hands-on training with industry experts, equipping you with the technical skills and professional expertise needed to excel in the dynamic elevator and escalator sector. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining real-world experience while contributing to projects that keep cities moving.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated individuals aged 35 or younger who possess:

• Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science, and/or N2/N3 qualification (mechanical or electrical)
• Computer literacy in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Team collaboration abilities and performance-driven mindset
• An Electrical Trade Test Qualification (advantageous but not essential)

Essential Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Leadership qualities and relationship-building capabilities
• Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong technical, analytical, and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent interpersonal and cooperation skills
• Physical fitness to perform hands-on tasks, including climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolds
• Ability to lift and move up to 15kg
• Complete vision capabilities (close, distance, colour, peripheral, depth perception)
• 100% medical fitness
