The Opportunity:
We are excited to invite recent graduates to apply for our 12-month IT Audit Learnership. Based in Johannesburg or Century City, Cape Town, this structured programme offers unparalleled hands-on experience within our Audit and Advisory division. You’ll gain exposure to critical areas of IT assurance, working alongside experienced professionals on real client engagements.

Your Role & What You’ll Learn:
As an IT Audit Learner, you will be actively involved in safeguarding client information systems and processes. Your key responsibilities and learning areas include:

1. Core IT Audits: Conducting IT General Controls (ITGC) Reviews, IT Governance Assessments, and evaluating Business Continuity Plans.
2. Cybersecurity Support: Assisting with cybersecurity audit activities to identify vulnerabilities and ensure robust defenses.
3. Process Analysis: Performing preliminary system reviews, documenting business processes, creating flowcharts, and identifying key risks.
4. Audit Execution: Supporting IS audit engagements under guidance, executing audit programs, meticulously documenting work, and preparing clear audit findings and recommendations.
5. Professional Development: Participating in client meetings, providing progress updates to senior team members, and learning to manage audit relationships effectively.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: A recent graduate with a relevant IT Degree, BCom (Information Systems), or BSc Computer Science. Strong majors or demonstrable interest in information systems/audit are essential.
• Technical Aptitude: A keen understanding of IT systems, security concepts, and a desire to apply this knowledge in an audit context.
