The Opportunity

As an IT Help Desk Support Intern, you’ll be the frontline hero keeping our team connected and productive. This hands-on role offers invaluable experience in a dynamic corporate IT environment where you’ll develop technical expertise while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do

Your days will be varied and engaging. You’ll provide first-line technical support through phone, email, and ticketing systems, troubleshooting everything from password resets to complex software issues. You’ll get hands-on experience installing and configuring hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. You’ll also manage user accounts, set permissions, and ensure security protocols are followed.

Documentation is key—you’ll log incidents accurately and contribute to our knowledge base, helping improve our service delivery. Most importantly, you’ll be the friendly, professional face of IT, turning frustrated users into satisfied customers while identifying opportunities to enhance our systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need your Grade 12/Matric certificate with mathematics or literacy, plus a relevant IT diploma or Bachelor’s degree (or currently studying toward one). While we value formal education, we’re equally interested in your practical abilities and attitude.

We need someone with basic Windows and Microsoft 365 knowledge, familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, and fundamental networking concepts. Experience with ticketing systems is advantageous but not essential—we’re more interested in your problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and genuine desire to help others.

Above all, we want someone who’s hungry to learn, adaptable to new technologies, and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
