The Role: Tier 0 IT Consultant (Intern / Graduate Trainee)

As a Tier 0 IT Consultant, you will be placed at the heart of our IT Service Desk, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise support processes, customer engagement, and real-world troubleshooting — all within a structured, supportive learning environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing first-line IT support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Logging, tracking, and managing incidents and service requests
• Assisting end-users with password resets, access queries, and basic technical issues
• Escalating complex problems to senior technical teams while learning best practices
• Contributing to knowledge base documentation and participating in training programmes
• Building your understanding of IT service management, cybersecurity basics, and professional customer engagement

Who Should Apply?

This role is designed for candidates with no prior full-time work experience. If you hold any of the following South African ICT-aligned qualifications, we want to hear from you:

• NQF Level 5 — Higher Certificate in IT, National Certificate in Systems Development or Systems Support, Higher Certificate in Network Engineering or Software Development
• NQF Level 6 — Diploma or National Diploma in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or Software Development
• NQF Level 7 — BSc in IT or Computer Science, Bachelor of Information Systems, Advanced Diploma in IT
