Magalies Water is proud to support South Africa’s future leaders by offering an Internship Programme designed to equip unemployed graduates and students with valuable practical experience. We invite applications for our 2025/26 – 2026/27 Internship Programme, which will run for a period of 24 months.

This is your chance to join a respected public entity and receive structured on-the-job training while earning a monthly stipend of R7,500.

Who Should Apply?

South African citizens between 18 and 35 years old.

Unemployed graduates or students who meet the listed qualifications.

Available Internship Opportunities:

Communications and Media Relations (1 position)
Qualification: Adv Diploma in Communication Management / BA in Communication.
Location: Rustenburg Head Office.

Finance (1 position)
Qualification: Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher in Accounting or Finance.
Location: Rustenburg Head Office.

Fleet Management (4 positions)
Qualification: Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Logistics, Fleet Management, or equivalent.
Locations: Klipdrift, Vaalkop, Far West, and South West Plants.

Governance, Risk and Compliance (1 position)
Qualification: Diploma in Internal Audit Risk Management.
Location: Rustenburg Head Office.

Human Resources (1 position)
Qualification: Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher in Human Resources.
Location: Rustenburg Head Office.

Internal Audit (1 position)
Qualification: Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher in Internal Audit.
Location: Rustenburg Head Office.

Legal Department (1 position)
Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Location: Rustenburg Head Office.

Maintenance (Electrical) (1 position)
Qualification: N6 Electrical Engineering.
Location: Klipdrift Water Treatment Plant and Far West.

Maintenance (Mechanical) (3 positions)
Qualification: S4 Mechanical Engineering / Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Locations: Klipdrift, Vaalkop, and Far West Plants.

Maintenance (Civil) (1 position)
Qualification: N6 / Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Location: Klipdrift Water Treatment Plant.

Marketing & Branding (1 position)
Qualification: BCom in Marketing or a related field.
Location: Rustenburg Head Office.
