2 Vacancies Available: P1 & P2 In-Service Training Programme

We are excited to announce two exceptional opportunities for motivated Mechanical Engineering S4 students to join our comprehensive 12-month training programme at our Lekwa Municipality facility.

Programme Overview

This specialized P1 & P2 training programme has been designed to guide successful candidates toward achieving their National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The programme represents our commitment to addressing South Africa’s critical skills shortage while actively contributing to reducing youth unemployment. Through hands-on experience and structured learning, trainees will gain invaluable exposure to industrial boiler manufacturing and maintenance operations.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completed S4 (or relevant equivalent qualification) with a minimum 50% grade average
  • No prior experience necessary – we provide comprehensive training

Location Requirements:
Candidates must reside in the Lekwa Municipality and surrounding areas.

Physical and Personal Requirements:

  • Medical fitness for relevant trades, with willingness to undergo medical examinations
  • Consent to alcohol and drug testing
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Flexibility to relocate to alternative sites if required for practical exposure and academic requirements
