Position Overview:
As an Industrial Trainee (IPL Graduate), you will play a vital role in supporting the Program Core Team and will be actively involved in launching new programs within the plant. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a high-paced production environment, helping bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management:
- Serve as the liaison between the Program Core Team and the plant.
- Define and manage the Plant Program Launch Team’s required resources.
- Actively participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) meetings and design reviews.
2. Process Definition & Production System Development:
- Support the definition of manufacturing processes and conduct feasibility and capability studies.
- Maintain accurate documentation within ERP systems, including PBOMs and routings.
- Implement process and product changes aligned with Faurecia’s standards.
- Assist in defining production lines using standard methodologies.
- Validate the design and functionality of equipment, tools, and gauges with suppliers.
3. Production Launch:
- Support the plant in preparing for and managing production ramp-up phases.
- Implement all actions derived from Process FMEA.
- Oversee process qualification and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
4. Targets and Reporting:
- Track and report progress on key metrics such as scrap rates, rework, cycle times, material costs, and launch budgets.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Program Core Team.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong understanding of Work Study principles and measurement tools.
- First-hand experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP R3, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and highly organized.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a dynamic and proactive approach.
- An international mindset and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- A minimum academic achievement of 70% overall.
