Microsoft, in partnership with Eviare Youth Campus, is offering an Advanced Skilling Internship designed to equip participants with cutting-edge skills in data science, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. This 12-month internship provides hands-on training, mentorship from industry professionals, and an opportunity to build a strong foundation for a career in the technology sector.

The program is aimed at unemployed South African youth who demonstrate a strong interest in technology and are eager to expand their knowledge and employability. The internship offers a monthly incentive of R5000, ensuring that participants can focus entirely on developing their skills and gaining practical experience.

Eligible candidates must be South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35. Applicants are required to have a minimum qualification of NQF Level 5 and must not be currently enrolled in any tertiary institution. Additionally, candidates should not be engaged in any other learnership, internship, or funded skills program. This ensures that the opportunity reaches those who are most in need of upskilling and professional development.

Throughout the internship, participants will engage in real-world projects, collaborate with peers, and receive mentorship from industry experts. The program aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, empowering participants to compete effectively in the job market.

The internship will commence on April 1, 2025, and applications will close on March 7, 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to avoid missing this opportunity.

Applications can be submitted through the official recruitment portal at recruitment.eviare.africa. The selection process will prioritize candidates who exhibit a genuine passion for technology, a commitment to personal growth, and the potential to contribute meaningfully to the industry.

This initiative reflects Microsoft’s ongoing commitment to empowering youth through education and skills development. By equipping participants with valuable technical skills, the program aims to reduce unemployment while fostering innovation within South Africa’s growing tech ecosystem.

Upon successful completion of the internship, participants will have gained not only technical expertise but also critical problem-solving and project management skills. These competencies will enhance their employability and open doors to further education, internships, or full-time employment within the technology sector.

Microsoft and Eviare Youth Campus encourage all eligible candidates to seize this opportunity and take the first step toward a rewarding career in technology.
