Empowering South African Youth Through Skills Development
The Necsa Group invites unemployed South African youth to apply for its exciting 2025 Learnership Programme. This initiative aims to equip young individuals with practical, hands-on experience to complement their theoretical studies, empowering them to enter the job market with confidence.
About the Programme:
The Necsa Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme is a 24-month learnership designed for TVET College students who have completed their N6 qualification and now require practical training to graduate. Successful candidates will gain industry-relevant experience while receiving mentorship and guidance from professionals in their respective fields.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be unemployed South African citizens.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
- Have completed an N6 qualification from a recognized TVET College.
- Provide an official letter from the TVET institution confirming completion of theoretical studies and the need for practical training to graduate.
Fields of Study:
Learnership opportunities are available in the following trades and disciplines:
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
- Fitter and Turner
- Mechanical Fitter
- Boilermaker
- Welder
- Plumber
- Civil Engineering
Programme Locations:
Learnership placements are available in several provinces across South Africa, including:
- Eastern Cape
- Free State
- KwaZulu-Natal
- Limpopo
- Mpumalanga
- Northern Cape
- North West
Application Instructions:
To apply, candidates must submit the following certified documents:
- Academic record from their TVET College.
- Updated CV detailing personal information, skills, and qualifications.
- Certified N6 qualification certificate.
- Certified copy of ID.

- Hand-delivered applications will not be accepted.
Application Deadline:
All applications must be submitted by 28 February 2025. Late submissions will not be considered under any circumstances.
Important Notes:
- Only South African citizens are eligible for this programme.
- Previous participants in a Necsa graduate or learnership programme are not eligible to apply.
- A stipend will be provided to successful candidates.
- If you do not receive any feedback from Necsa within 30 days after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
