Programme Overview
The Old Mutual Corporate Internship Programme 2026 is a structured graduate development initiative designed to transform recent graduates into skilled financial services professionals. This is not just an internship—it’s a strategic entry point into a meaningful career with one of Africa’s most respected financial institutions.
Running for a full year, this programme offers hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and real-world exposure to corporate financial operations. You’ll work on meaningful projects within our business units, contributing to actual business outcomes while developing the technical and professional skills that will define your career.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking ambitious, curious graduates who are ready to begin their professional journey in financial services. Ideal candidates will have:
Academic Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Financial Planning, Economics, Accounting, Finance/Financial Management, Information Technology, or Business Management
- A minimum aggregate of 65%
- No prior formal work experience (first-time job seekers are encouraged)
Essential Attributes:
- Legal eligibility to work in South Africa
- Availability to commence on 1 March 2026
- A genuine interest in financial services and corporate operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
