Position Overview

We are looking for four (4) Pupil Technicians to participate in our P1 and P2 Training Programme, designed for candidates who have completed their S4 in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current). The successful applicants will receive hands-on technical training and development within the Secondary Plant division under the Northern Grid business unit.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to practical engineering in a real-world power transmission environment, while also contributing to a vital part of South Africa’s electricity infrastructure.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed S4 in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current)

Key Responsibilities:

This is a training-focused role, and therefore, no formal responsibilities are expected at the outset. However, you will be expected to engage in all learning activities, practical assignments, and safety protocols as required by the training programme.
