This structured workplace experience programme is ideal for students who require practical training to complete their university qualifications. Successful applicants will join a high-performing team while gaining essential on-the-job experience at one of South Africa’s leading mining operations.

Available Disciplines:

• Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) x2
• Mechanical Engineering x1
• Instrumentation x1

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed S4 in the relevant field of study
• Recent letter from the university confirming the need for P1/P2 practical training
• Certified South African ID copy
• Proof of qualification obtained
• Proof of residential address
• Comprehensive CV

Selection Criteria:

• South African citizen
• Currently unemployed
• Aged between 18 and 35 years
• No active criminal record
• Resident within the John Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) Municipality will be given preference
• Candidates must be medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996
