Our Port Elizabeth facility is seeking ambitious graduates to join our Production, Control & Logistics (PC&L) team through our prestigious YES Graduate Programme.

The Opportunity

We’re offering an exceptional 12-month graduate programme designed to launch your career in automotive logistics and industrial engineering. As a PC&L Graduate, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in establishing work standards, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract
Reports to: PC&L Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a PC&L Graduate, you’ll be immersed in meaningful projects that directly impact our operational efficiency:

• Process Optimization: Establish and improve work standards and process flows using lean methodologies and FES principles
• Data Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies involving comprehensive data gathering, analysis, and presentation to senior management
• Layout Management: Maintain and update site and warehouse layouts to reflect operational changes and ensure best practices
• Continuous Improvement: Apply Industrial Engineering principles and lean techniques to increase operating efficiencies and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Project Support: Provide planning, implementation, and tracking support for key initiatives
• Performance Management: Develop and implement performance measures aligned with business objectives

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications:

• National Diploma or B-Tech in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management
• 2025 final-year students welcome (employment subject to qualification confirmation)
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Age between 18-35 years
• Must not have been previously registered with the YES Youth Programme

Key Competencies:

• Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles with particular interest in supply chain and logistics
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities
• Structured and methodical approach to problem-solving
• Dynamic, proactive attitude with drive for continuous improvement
• Strong communication and presentation skills
