About the Project

The Yanacocha Water Treatment Plant represents a landmark achievement in environmental engineering. Located at South America’s largest gold mine, 800 km northeast of Lima, this project features two of the continent’s most advanced acid water treatment facilities, processing up to 3,000 m³/hour. You’ll be part of a team building critical infrastructure that protects water resources and demonstrates sustainable mining practices.

Your Role

As a Process Improvement Training Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening our Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) program. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll coordinate training initiatives that keep our workforce safe and informed. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our safety culture and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing engaging training materials, including brochures, bulletins, and digital content that communicate ES&H best practices
• Managing and enhancing our departmental intranet, creating user-friendly web-based tools that improve team effectiveness
• Researching innovative process improvement solutions, including database functionality and modern web design approaches
• Collaborating with Senior Process Improvement Specialists to launch corporate ES&H campaigns and initiatives
• Preparing comprehensive reports on program effectiveness and key safety metrics
• Supporting continuous improvement efforts through creative communication strategies

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Your technical proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Suite, SharePoint, and computer-based training software will be essential. Knowledge of learning management systems and automation methods will set you apart.
