Unilever is offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Planning Intern at its Maydon Wharf Factory in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This internship program provides a unique platform for individuals to gain practical work experience and hands-on learning within a dynamic, global organization. The internship is designed to run for a period of twelve months, allowing participants to develop essential skills and contribute meaningfully to the operational efficiency and project management initiatives at the plant.

As a Project Planning Intern, you will be involved in supporting project planning activities, assisting in the preparation of schedules, coordinating project deliverables, and ensuring alignment with operational objectives. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to track progress, identify potential risks, and recommend improvements to enhance workflow and productivity. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about learning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate should have completed a Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrate proficiency in key computer software programs, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, and proficiency in English is required. Candidates must be able to manage tasks effectively, work collaboratively with others, and maintain a high standard of accuracy in all project documentation and reporting.
