What the Programme Offers
Interns will be embedded within operational and administrative functions, supporting key business activities while developing practical competencies across Human Resources, Business Administration, and Data Analytics. Who Should Apply
This programme is open to South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 33 who hold a National Diploma or Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Human Resources
- Business Administration
- Data Analytics
Applicants must also hold a Grade 12 / Matric certificate, be currently unemployed, and must not have previously participated in a YES Programme. A clean criminal record is required, and candidates must be willing to relocate to or reside in Pretoria for the duration of the programme.
What SGS Is Looking For
Strong candidates will bring more than their qualifications to the table. SGS is looking for interns who demonstrate exceptional computer literacy, with particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). You should have an analytical mindset, a natural affinity for working with data, and sharp research skills.
Attention to detail is non-negotiable. You will be expected to produce accurate, well-structured work and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information. The ability to assimilate, summarise, and draw conclusions from information will be key to your success in this role. Familiarity with AI tools and programmes is an added advantage.
