This role forms part of the Engineering Rotation Scheme, offering a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience and training in technical sales and proposal development within the energy transmission industry.

Role Overview
The Technical Sales Support in Training role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about engineering, have strong interpersonal skills, and are eager to develop their capabilities in a client-facing, technical sales environment. The role focuses on providing technical consultative support, evaluating business opportunities, and developing tailored solutions for energy transmission projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing customer enquiries, preparing estimations, and clarifying technical specifications.
- Gather and assess calculations and quotations from sub-suppliers and contractors.
- Support tender preparation, submission, and order processing activities.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets by following up on tenders and converting them into orders.
- Participate in marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, client presentations, and promotional events.
- Maintain and update customer records on Salesforce weekly.
- Monitor and check tender platforms for new opportunities with municipalities and utilities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A completed BSc or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new technical concepts and business practices.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
- A positive attitude, with a focus on teamwork, adaptability, and self-development.
