About This Opportunity
Located in the heart of Bellville, Western Cape, this comprehensive internship offers hands-on experience in the statutory control department that manages the critical functions of South Africa’s national road network. - Duration: 24 months
- Stipend: R8,000 per month

- Reports to: Engineering Manager

What You’ll Do
As a Statutory Control Intern, you’ll gain invaluable exposure to the regulatory framework governing our national road infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
Core Functions:
- Processing wayleave applications for services crossing or running parallel to national roads
- Managing land subdivision applications and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting outdoor advertising applications and monitoring the removal of illegal advertisements
- Assisting with tourist-related information road signage approvals
- Contributing to damage claims processing and resolution
- Collaborating with project managers and route managers on application processing
- Providing expert feedback on regulatory queries and national road legislation compliance
