We’re looking for dynamic, driven, and innovative Technical Services Trainees to join our team at the Alrode Brewery. About the Programme

The Technical Trainee Programme is an intensive 18-month journey created to equip recent graduates with the technical knowledge and practical experience necessary to make an impact in our operations from day one. You will gain comprehensive exposure to the Utilities section of our brewery, while being fully immersed in our company culture and principles.

From day one, you’ll be empowered to take ownership, participate in impactful projects, and actively contribute to the success of the team. If you’re passionate about engineering, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, this opportunity is for you.


What You’ll Do

As a Technical Trainee, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of the theory, principles, and operation of Utilities equipment used in brewing processes
  • Participating in real-time projects aligned with business priorities and technical requirements
  • Applying VPO (Voyager Plant Optimization) principles to support operational efficiency
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting systemic and situational technical issues
  • Acting in leadership roles within team structures to build decision-making and coordination skills
  • Effectively communicating learnings, solutions, and insights with various stakeholders across the brewery
  • Developing skills in self-study, hands-on technical practice, and structured learning

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for ambitious graduates who meet the following criteria:

  • A BSc, BEng, or BTech degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • A passion for continuous learning and process optimization
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative mindset with leadership potential
