Job Overview
As a Technician Assistant, you will support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical systems within the Sishen Solar Facility. This role is perfect for someone who is technically inclined, safety-conscious, and ready to build a career in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Support technicians in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing solar plant components.
- Operate basic hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures as per OH&S regulations.
- Work on uneven surfaces, ladders, and in varied weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements & Competencies
- Basic training in the use of hand tools.
- Exposure to electrical equipment; any theoretical qualification in electrical work is advantageous.
- Understanding of OH&S regulations and safe work practices.
- Ability to work physically demanding tasks and in outdoor conditions.
- Valid driver’s license is essential.
- Team player with strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
