The TEFLA Group, in partnership with the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA), is offering a structured 12-month internship programme for young graduates seeking to gain practical, hands-on experience in the construction and built environment sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for recently qualified candidates to launch their careers under the guidance of an established construction group while earning a monthly stipend of R4,000.00.

Positions are available across four provinces — Gauteng (Pretoria), KwaZulu-Natal (Maphumulo), Western Cape (Cape Town), and Limpopo (Sekororo) — making this one of the most geographically accessible graduate internship programmes currently available in the construction industry.

Available Positions by Province

Candidates must apply for the province and field of study relevant to their qualifications. The following positions are available:

Gauteng (Pretoria): Diploma in Civil Engineering (x1), Diploma in Building (x1), Diploma in Quantity Surveying (x2), Bachelor of Science Honours in Construction Project Management (x1), Diploma in Landscaping Architecture (x1).

KwaZulu-Natal (Maphumulo): Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying (x1), Diploma in Civil Engineering (x1), Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (x2), Diploma in Building (x2).

Western Cape (Cape Town): Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (x2), Bachelor of Science Honours in Construction Project Management (x2), Diploma in Building (x1), Diploma in Landscaping Architecture (x2).

Limpopo (Sekororo): Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying (x1), Diploma in Civil Engineering (x1), Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (x2), Diploma in Building (x2).

Stipend

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R4,000.00 for the duration of the 12-month programme.

Requirements

To be considered for this internship programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
An updated curriculum vitae; a certified copy of a South African identity document not older than three months; certified copies of all relevant qualifications; applicants must not have previously participated in any government-funded programmes; and applicants living with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
