Purpose of the Role

The primary aim of this Work Integrated Learning position is to provide practical workplace experience to students who need to fulfil the in-service training component of their academic qualification. Successful candidates will be embedded within Mintek’s technical teams and gain exposure to professional engineering environments, contributing meaningfully to ongoing projects while developing the technical and workplace competencies required in their field.

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is best suited to students who have completed their S4 or S5 year of study in one of the following disciplines:

  • Electronics Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering

Applicants must demonstrate an excellent academic record, with a minimum academic average of 60%. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess strong computer literacy across Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; sound written and verbal communication skills; a strong numerical aptitude and analytical ability; and a keen attention to detail.

Remuneration

Successful candidates will receive a salary package of R100 152.00 CTC per annum, which is non-negotiable.
