Position Title: YES Industrial Program Graduate
Reporting To: FCM Industrial Program Manager

Main Purpose of the Job:
The Industrial Program (IP) Graduate will support the Launch Team in executing manufacturing and engineering activities in accordance with Faurecia’s policies and standards. The successful candidate will assist in coordinating product interface, managing manufacturing processes, and supporting production system development and launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management and Coordination:

• Support product manufacturability and coordinate work package tasks.
• Act as a technical liaison between the Program Manager, customer, and suppliers.
• Define plant launch team resources and coordinate their activities.
• Manage R@R (Run at Rate) processes.
• Represent the plant as the interface between the Program Manufacturing Leader (PML) and the production facility.

Prototyping and Engineering Support:

• Check availability of technical know-how and resources during prototype build.
• Analyze tasks and support execution in line with the Manufacturing Validation Plan (MVP).
• Implement engineering changes to the production system and product.

Production System Development:

• Design and implement production systems using Lean Capex methodologies.
• Create process flow charts, layouts, equipment/tooling definitions, and logistics diagrams.
• Contribute to Process, Equipment, and Facility FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Coordinate installation and launch of production equipment and tooling.

Production Launch Support:

• Conduct Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and support mass production trials.
• Manage production launch activities and support production ramp-up in the plant.

Performance Targets and Reporting:

• Achieve program targets including quality, cost, delivery, and scrap rate.
• Ensure manufacturing milestones are met on time.
• Report monthly progress to internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• BTech or National Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team-oriented, proactive, and results-driven
• Willing to work in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
• Fluent in English with an international mindset
• South African citizen between 18 and 35 years old
• Must not have previously participated in the YES Youth Programme
• Available to start immediately if selected
