In pursuit of this Purpose, RCL Foods is now inviting applications for its 2026 Internship Programme, based at its Groceries Operating Unit in Randfontein, Gauteng. This is a structured, 12-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity designed for students who are eager to gain real-world, hands-on experience within a dynamic manufacturing and operations environment.

About the Opportunity

Areas of Study

Applications are invited from students currently studying towards a Diploma in any of the following disciplines:

  • Food Technology or Biotechnology
  • Chemistry or Microbiology
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Operations Management
  • Procurement or Supply Chain Management

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the RCL Foods 2026 Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a Diploma programme in one of the qualifying fields listed above
  • In possession of an official letter from their tertiary institution confirming a requirement of 12 months’ Work Integrated Learning (WIL)
  • Must not have previously completed a WIL placement
  • Strong academic record
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
