Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is inviting applications from unemployed youth for an exciting 12-month Learnership Programme in Visual Merchandising, based in Upington, Northern Cape. This is a structured, work-based learning opportunity designed to equip participants with the commercial knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

About the Programme

The Unemployed Learner Visual Merchandiser programme offers hands-on exposure to sales, merchandising, and customer service within a designated geographical area. Learners will report to an Account Developer and work closely with the broader sales team to service customers, grow sales volumes, and implement brand merchandising standards across assigned outlets. Upon successful completion of a minimum of 120 credits, learners will receive a recognised qualification in Sales and Marketing.

What You Will Do

As a Learner Visual Merchandiser, you will execute daily call schedules across assigned outlets, implement visual merchandising standards, and ensure product quality, availability, and visibility in line with CCBSA’s RED and execution scorecard standards. You will support customers in placing orders through the MyCCBA platform, assist in the roll-out of promotional activities to enhance brand visibility, and complete the iRED survey as part of in-store execution. You will also collaborate with sales team members and receive ongoing guidance and performance feedback from your Account Developer.

Who Should Apply

CCBSA is looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy (minimum 40%)
  • Grade 12 with English and a second language (minimum 40%)
  • South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate
  • Available to work six days per week
  • No criminal record or adverse credit record
  • Must not be enrolled in any current learnership or full-time studies
  • Must not have previously completed the same qualification at another organisation
  • A post-matric qualification in Sales and Marketing will be advantageous
  • A valid Driver’s Licence will be an added advantage
